Welcome to the official Unicode art web site. Please take a moment to read our generalized history of ASCII art (which also touches on ANSI art) before proceeding to the Unicode art gallery if you're not yet familiar with ASCII art.
The intention of this web site is to provide a central UTF-8 repository of Unicode art (which also automatically includes all 7-bit ASCII art), in an effort to further popularize the use of Unicode to strengthen multi-cultural computing.
We believe that the creative possibilities with Unicode art are a favourable endorsement of the countless works of ASCII art of the past, present, and future.
